InFLUence Others: Get Vaccinated

InFLUence Others: Get Vaccinated is an informational awareness campaign promoting the importance of annual influenza vaccination throughout Nevada.

The flu affects up to 60 million people each year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now advise that all people 6 months and older receive an annual influenza vaccination. This is and exapnded recommendation from the 2010-2011 season that has proven to be affective in keeping people healthy during flu season. The decision is supported by evidence that influenza vaccination is a safe and valuable preventative health measure.

The Immunize Nevada, the Northern Nevada Immunization Coalition (NNIC) and the Southern Nevada Immunization and Health Coalition (SNIHC) support the campaign along with many of our state partners.
